As a comedian teacher type, you’re kind of like a farmer. You’re outstanding in your field. (Get it?) Of course, you’re a fan favorite in the classroom. Scholars love a teacher who can make them holler (aka laugh–my weak attempt to be funny). Humor is a universal language, and you’re a wizard of the wisecrack, a wordsmith of the witty. You stir them with satire and show them that learning should be fun.
Personality Pitfalls: You can dish a joke, but you can take it? Kids can be comedians too, but they often lack the tact to know when to spit and when to quit it. How well you deal with hecklers can make or break your set. If you can’t keep your cool, you might struggle to soften a tough classroom crowd.
